On September 21 George Mayer’s only workshop was held in Moscow! The workshop gathered photo artists from across Russia. In the theoretical part George talked about the photographers whose art inspired him, about composition, about form and content in portrait photography. During the five hour long photo shoot George showed numerous light schemes, he demonstrated the way he runs light and shadow during the photo shoot. He also showed the way he deals with the model and changes the image with the help of special effects. The models for the workshop were two professional Russian ballet dancers. They were sitting for classical portraits and abstract nude photographs.
