The series of photographs explores the delicate issue of the ephemerality of human thoughts and emotions. What is ephemerality? It refers to transience, impermanence, and elusiveness. Both in psychology and philosophy, we can observe examples of ephemerality - thoughts that flicker in our minds but gradually disappear, emotions that engulf us but then dissolve over time.
In the portraits, we see how symbolism is used through light and shadows to depict what easily slips away from us. These fleeting moments of existence touch upon the inner state of the soul, leaving an imprint.
However, even though our feelings and thoughts may be ephemeral, they are not useless or meaningless at all. Our emotions and thoughts weave the thread of our own life stories and define us as individuals. And although they may vanish, they leave everlasting traces in the heart. This is the canvas of our lives - inconsistent yet profound and rich.
